Location

The Pines of Paradise is located 6 miles South of Mackinaw City at the tip of lower Michigan. Our facilities offer the ideal getaway for families large and small looking to spend time together.

Paradise Lake

Paradise Lake (formerly called Carp Lake) is a 1900 acre all-sports lake. We have over 200 feet of private shoreline on the North shore of the lake. The lake is home to largemouth bass, northern pike, pumpkinseed sunfish, rockbass, smallmouth bass, walleye, and yellow perch.

Directions

From the South, travelling North on I-75:

Take Exit 337 (Nicolet Street) just outside Mackinaw City.
At the end of the exit ramp, take a left.
Take an immediate left back onto I-75 going South.
In a mile, take Exit 336 onto M-31, toward Petoskey.
Immediately move into the left lane.
Take the first left turn onto Mackinaw Hwy. Stop at the Stop sign in the median.
Go straight across.
You are now on a 2 lane road, heading South.
Follow for about 2 miles curving to the right. Continue 1/2 mile to Pines of Paradise Resort at 8410 Paradise Trail (on the left).

 

Traveling North from M-131 or M-31:

Follow M-131 North, or M-31 North, into Petoskey to M-131 / M-31 intersection near the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital.
Follow M-31 North through Conway, Alanson, Pellston, and Levering, to the light at Carp Lake Village.
Take a right, then an immediate left onto Paradise Trail.
Follow Paradise Trail for 2 miles to Pines of Paradise Resort at 8410 Paradise Trail (on the right).

 

Traveling South on I-75:

Just south of Mackinaw City, take Exit onto M-31 south toward Petoskey and Charlevoix.
Immediately move into the left hand lane.
Take the first left onto Mackinaw Highway (stopping at stop sign in median, and then crossing the northbound M-31 lanes).
Follow for about 2 miles curving to the right. Continue 1/2 mile to Pines of Paradise Resort at 8410 Paradise Trail (on the left).
